L'alcalde de València, Joan Ribó, acompanyat de la regidora de Gestió de Recursos, Lluïsa Notario, i del vicealcalde i regidor d’Ecologia Urbana, Sergi Campillo, assistix a la primera projecció del videomapping L'esperit de Nadal sobre la façana de l'Ajuntament amb motiu de les festes nadalenques.
De Tsjechische kunstgroep The Macula beheerst videomapping, een projectietechniek die ieder oppervlak lijkt te veranderen in een videoscherm, tot in de puntjes. De grote doorbraak kwam in 2010 toen the Macula op onnavolgbare wijze de astronomische klok op het Oude
Stadsplein in Praag tot leven bracht. Sindsdien krijgen ze opdrachten over de hele wereld voor grootschalige installaties in de openbare ruimte.
Este trabalho é inspirado em Obaluaê orixá da varíola e das doenças contagiosas, É ligado simbolicamente ao mundo dos mortos. Ele representa o ponto de contato do homem (físico) com o mundo (a terra). A interface pele/ar. No aspecto positivo, ele rege e cura, através da morte e do renascimento.

Multimedia art duo Martin Mayer and Quirin Empl specialize in interior and exterior 3D video mapping - an art form that uses the architecture, shape and conditions of the room to project moving images, light or graphics on abstract surfaces, and thus creating an entirely new atmospheric space.
Die Multimediakünstler Martin Mayer und Quirin Empl erfassen in ihren raumgreifenden Installationen Orte mittels Videomapping. Eine Herangehensweise die mit den räumlichen Gegebenheiten und der vorhandenen Architektur arbeitet. Form und Eigenschaft eines Raumes werden erfasst und rekonstruiert.
Veränderungen an den raumbeschreibenden Datenstrukturen, dynamisch gekoppelt an raumbezogene Sensordaten, werden in Echtzeit mit Videoprojektoren auf die reale Architektur zurückübertragen. Damit entsteht ein vom User abhängiges, virtuelles Raumkonstrukt.
