Multimedia art duo Martin Mayer and Quirin Empl specialize in interior and exterior 3D video mapping - an art form that uses the architecture, shape and conditions of the room to project moving images, light or graphics on abstract surfaces, and thus creating an entirely new atmospheric space.
Die Multimediakünstler Martin Mayer und Quirin Empl erfassen in ihren raumgreifenden Installationen Orte mittels Videomapping. Eine Herangehensweise die mit den räumlichen Gegebenheiten und der vorhandenen Architektur arbeitet. Form und Eigenschaft eines Raumes werden erfasst und rekonstruiert.
Veränderungen an den raumbeschreibenden Datenstrukturen, dynamisch gekoppelt an raumbezogene Sensordaten, werden in Echtzeit mit Videoprojektoren auf die reale Architektur zurückübertragen. Damit entsteht ein vom User abhängiges, virtuelles Raumkonstrukt.

Its a residencial building, and the people don´t know what is happen :) so during all the show no lights get inside the windows, even in the beginning of the mapping.

Este trabalho é inspirado em Obaluaê orixá da varíola e das doenças contagiosas, É ligado simbolicamente ao mundo dos mortos. Ele representa o ponto de contato do homem (físico) com o mundo (a terra). A interface pele/ar. No aspecto positivo, ele rege e cura, através da morte e do renascimento.

Sinopsis Argumental
Noruega del siglo XIX, pequeña ciudad costera. El líder de la ciudad con el afán de mantener su nombre y el poder económico sostiene una mentira durante veinte años. En el proceso traiciona a la mujer que ama, a su mejor amigo, a su familia, al pueblo que cree en él. Veinte años después regresa un hombre que lo hace revelar sus secretos, la única esperanza para seguir en el poder es ser perdonado por su pueblo.
Sobre el pasado, presente y futuro de una familia se presenta la primera puesta de video mapping dramático en Cuba. La puesta para mapping parte del texto teatral de Henry Ibsen del año 1877: Las Columnas de la sociedad. La historia transcurre en una pequeña ciudad costera que se resiste a las transformaciones de la Revolución Industrial. El edificio cobrará vida para traducir las problemáticas de una familia que intenta sobrevivir bajo los principios de una falsa moral burguesa.

When installing projectors outdoors, its good to be protected, these multi purpose, optically clear domes add hardly any distortion to the image and the airflow was un affected.
5 of these were installed around the outside of a swanky gazebo where dining and presentations were taking place.
De Tsjechische kunstgroep The Macula beheerst videomapping, een projectietechniek die ieder oppervlak lijkt te veranderen in een videoscherm, tot in de puntjes. De grote doorbraak kwam in 2010 toen the Macula op onnavolgbare wijze de astronomische klok op het Oude
Stadsplein in Praag tot leven bracht. Sindsdien krijgen ze opdrachten over de hele wereld voor grootschalige installaties in de openbare ruimte.
In de audio-visuele productie Stereo (afgeleid van het Griekse woord voor vast, ruimtelijk) krijgt de gevel van de Augustijnenkerk een nieuwe dimensie, waarbij niet alleen de architectuur, maar ook historische en allegorische thema's met betrekking tot de locatie prominent worden belicht. De projectie is zo exact dat het moeilijk is om nog een onderscheid te maken tussen de kerk en de projectie ervan. Alles wordt een illusie, nieuwe visuele indrukken volgen elkaar rap op en de toeschouwers vallen van de ene verbazing in de andere.
