The architecture and the posts used to secure the gondolas contribute to the vertical lines in this picture. That is what I saw while these people were merely trying to have a romantic time on the water of the Grand Canal.

Schloss Neuhaus is a beautiful castle built in the architecture of the Weserrenaissance and located in the Paderborn area. We used the beautiful mild and sunny weather for an extended trip.

I found this lovely vertical landscape in the Needles of Custer National Park, SD! I like the tall vertical pines in forefront framing the Needles rock formations with their vertical design.

I was anyway hiking through this forest near the twin lakes (Lagoas Empadadas), in the western side of the Island. The ground really holds it's moisture in , when we touched the moss it was soaking wet, the trees must really love this climate.
