Onychogomphus cazuma (Barona, Cardo & Díaz, 2020) la única libélula endémica de España.
Morfológicamente similar O. forcipatus O. uncatus y O.boudoti, pero se puede distinguir fácilmente por la combinación de los siguientes rasgos: (1) vertex negro con una mancha amarilla redondeada, (2) cuello y área amarilla adyacente no interrumpida por una gruesa línea negra y (3) franja postdorsal negra no conectada con la cresta antealar.
Enhorabuena por el descubrimiento.
Gracias a Ricardo Menor por mostrármela y enseñarme cuales eran los rasgos, además de los descritos, para su fácil identificación y no confundirla con las otras especies parecidas.
Onychogomphus cazuma (Barona, Cardo & Díaz, 2020) the only endemic dragonfly in Spain.
Morphologically similar O. forcipatus O. uncatus and O. boudoti, but can be easily distinguished by the combination of the following features: (1) black vertex with a rounded yellow spot, (2) neck and adjacent yellow area not interrupted by a thick black line and (3) black postdorsal stripe not connected to the antealar crest.

The Atomium is a monument built for Expo '58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by André Waterkeyn, it is 102-metres tall, with nine steel spheres connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times.
Tubes which connect the spheres along the 12 edges of the cube and all eight vertices to the centre enclose escalators connecting the spheres which contain exhibit halls and other public spaces. The top sphere provides a panoramic view of Brussels. Each sphere is 18 metres in diameter. Three spheres are currently (2008) closed to visitors, others are easily reachable with escalator. The vertical vertex contains a lift which was considered very fast and advanced at the time of building (the speed is 5 m/s)

They are usually in high places and cleared from which you can overlook other similar points, which is why they are often in places that pose good views. Since 1975 are protected by the Law on Geodetic and Geophysical Signals.
Most of those in the coast have finished swallowed by the sea.

La encargada del cerealero Muriedas - Babilafuente durante toda la semana pasada fue la rejuvenecida 335.008 de Transfesa que ya luce los colores lima de Alpha Trains, veremos si el resto de máquinas van cayendo también o si aún es pronto para ir buscando las 335 turquesas, a día de hoy cansinas.
En la foto la podemos ver apurando sus últimos kilómetros sobre la RFIG antes de llegar a Babilafuente, donde empujará los vagones al interior de la planta de la empresa Vertex situada en esta localidad.

So after storm Doris past through I thought I better go check on our caravan in north wales. Well it would be rude not to take the camera along and stop off somewhere for a pic or 2. Light was a bit up and down (mostly down) but a rare moment presented itself where the sun shone on to the light house and illuminated it quite nicely. Tried to use the dancing grasses to effect and also the 2 paths that converge from left and right to create the Vertex with the light house added the 3rd line of connection :-)

A building in Ikebukuro, maybe a concert hall I think.
I thought the last two shots were so colorful, it was time for something a little more monotone.
The Vertex was a strange spacecraft. It seemed to have no useful purpose and its cockpit "seated" the pilot at a strange angle. The ship's giant "ears" appeared to be radiators for the engines. Lacking landing gear, it was only suited for use in deep space.
Rumours that the designers at Llwyngwril Space Systems just wanted to build a ship with a vertical windscreen were consistently denied. However, the design team were seen to be giggling and have their fingers crossed...

Seventh picture of my series The Vertex.
This time breaking several rules of landscape photography, horizon in the middle and main point of focus centered on the image. I liked the composition so minimalist. What do you think about it?
They were about five minutes in which the red flooded everything, creating an incredible atmosphere, with blue, purple, red, pink, orange, yellow colors. Just incredible.
On the technical side, say that I only used a neutral gradient three steps filter.
