Now, I am not a blogger for this very talented lady but let's face it there are very few that can pull off the gowns she creates. Some things have changed in Second Life and we do not wear these types of apparel much anymore. I hope this is a revival of all that is fun and glamorous in our Second Life. Heaven knows we all need a touch of sparkle in our lives right now.

“Ben Venue” (2392ft) may be small in stature but it is a mountain of real character the finest in the Trossachs when seen across Loch Achray. The ascent is a great walk with both boggy and rocky ground higher up, and stunning views from the summit over Loch Katrine and Loch Venachar. Sitting right at the bottom of the mountain if you look closely is the“Loch Achray Hotel” owned by Lochs and Glens Holidays and it makes a great base to explore all that the Trossachs area of Scotland has to offer.

COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 is attacking all over the world. Japan is no exception, and everyday is becoming more difficult. As a photographer, I also thought about life and postponed the exhibition according to the government's request. The Japanese government does not support artists. So I decided to hold an online photo exhibition. This is free to watch.

The photo exhibition should be in the dark in the room at night, preferably with the playlist. Look at the brightness of mobile terminals at 1/3.

Thank you for your support. Thanks to everyone, we had more access than in Japan. Thank you. Last but not least, I would be happy if you could share the URL of the photo exhibition on your SNS. Thank you!

“Ben Venue” (729m at the top of the photo), is a landmark mountain in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and sits between Loch Achray and Loch Katrine, It’s very popular with hillwalkers and this is part of the woodland track from the main car park leading you up through the Achray Forest to start the climb.

Small in stature but a real mountain of character, the finest in the Trossachs.

A concert where all the regular musicians associated with the venue performed for free in support. Fortunately, the audience also showed their support by showing up in large numbers, in fact it was impossible to get a seat for the first hour. Great music and a warm atmosphere.

The venue is Broad Green (Broadgreen) station on Merseyside, some 3 miles from the centre of Liverpool, and the train is Northern's 11.45am Lime Street - Wigan North Western service (2F52) in the hands of class 319 unit 319378.

Motorists might better know the place as where the M62 comes to an end and where the traffic jams start - if you're heading into town that is. And if you have a certain amount of wealth with aspirations to live in the north west, then the billboard top right, presumably from Barrett Homes, just might be the thing for you. For those with a sense of humour, coupled with a certain talent for a tickling stick, you might like to know the suburb of Knotty Ash is close by.

The shot was taken back in January, and I re-visited the station a few weeks ago intent on repeating the image with a Cat on a Trans-Pennine service. I was successful too, but the green summery colours just didn't work for me in the way these wintry textures and tones did ..... so the 68 got kicked to the kerb and it's a 319 instead. Thanks to the buddleia for providing a bit of structural interest.

The view from a frosty Ben Venue.

Creating our own little seaside slice of heaven ♥

We were playing with ideas on our little slice of mainland (can you believe this is mainland??)...an idea turned into a whole build and the next thing you know we've got a venue :D

2 of the performers that appear at Lost Spirits Distillery. There are a wide variety of performers who are showcased at this unique Performance Complex here in Las Vegas. I wish I had one of my DSLRs for the pictures I took while I was performing there, but my iPhone had to do… As they say, The best camera you have is the 1 you have with you. :-)

The Varsity Theater opened in 1906 as the first nickelodeon - a movie theater with an admission fee of one nickel - in the Champaign/Urbana area. The building itself dates to about 1880.

The theater went through several metamorphosis' over the 116 years. In the late 1920s, The Varsity made the industry-wide transition to sound films. In 1943, the Varsity Theater was extensively remodeled (and renamed the Rex Theater), as a 330-seat Art Moderne style theater. It featured new projection equipment, new leather seating, air-conditioning and a cream and blue color scheme in the auditorium. The Rex Theater was advertised as “completely fireproof” when it reopened with the Sonia Henie film “Iceland”.

In 1948, the theater received another new name, the Illini Theater. A decade later, the Illini Theater was, along with the Park Theater (now the recently shuttered New Art), acquired by the Art Theatre Guild, which began a policy of art and foreign fare at both theaters.

For a brief period (1963-66), the Illini Theater became the Encore Theater, operating as a revival house. In 1966, the theater returned to its former name, the Illini Theater, and two years later, began screening adult features, along with the New Art Theater (at the time called simply the Art Theater).

The Illini Theater was shuttered in 1983, after nearly fifteen years as an adult theater. Four years later, the Illini Theater was purchased by a church, and it continued to serve in this capacity until 1997, when the church moved out. Since then the building has been renovated and remodeled and for several years operated as a bar, known as the Highdive Club, featuring live music. The Highdive Club closed its doors in 2015, the same year I took this photograph. Today the old theater is part of The Venue CU, an upscale urban wedding and event space that occupies both the former theater and Vriner's next door - which has its own interesting history.

The Vriner's building was constructed in 1890 as a clothing store, but was repurposed as Veiner's Confectionery in 1898. Of the five or six candy shops operating in Champaign at the turn of the century, Vriner's was the longest-lived. The shop's location next to The Varsity theater and near Champaign's railroad station, made it popular with patrons of both. The store also led to an influx of Greek immigrants to Champaign, as Vriner's promised jobs to many of the new immigrants.

The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Although the Vriner family still makes candy, the confectionery store closed in 1997 and the brand no longer has a permanent storefront. At the time this photo was taken, a country bar occupied the building.

The former Varsity Theater is a contributing property within the Champaign Downtown Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020, while the former Vriner's Confectionery is separately listed in the National Register of Historic Places. As previously mentioned, both buildings are now part of The Venue CU.

Located in Champaign County in east central Illinois, the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana are the home of the University of Illinois. The population of the City of Champaign at the 2020 census was 88,302, while Champaign County had a population of 205,865.

The very thought of you and I forget to do

The little ordinary things that everyone ought to do

I'm living in a kind of daydream

I'm happy as a king

And foolish though it may seem

To me that's everything...

The mere idea of you, the longing here for you

You'll never know how slow the moments go till

I'm near to you

I see your face in every flower

Your eyes in stars above

It's just the thought of you

The very thought of you, my love...

I see your face in every flower

Your eyes in stars above

It's just the thought of you

The very thought of you, my love....

The troll couldn't even remember what or who she was so publicly upset in throwing her angry flaming darts. Nature was impressing on her that the world was not coming to an end. Out of the reach of Internet snark and yelps, she felt peaceful here, surrounded by the quietness of budding life. Sleepy too.

She lay back against a tree. There was no internet signal to keep her scrolling down a screen. Just the calm.
