Besides the ability to sooth your throat, quench your thirst, and relief the heat, the drink also provides some health benefits such as improving appetite & digestion and possibly inhibiting the buildup of lactic acid in the body.
A lady selling 'sai gaupe' beside the road. Sai gaupe (forgive my phonetic spelling) is a mixture of ground pork and rice which is then rolled into balls and grilled. It's usually sold with sticky rice, fresh vegetables and various sauces (invariably hot!).
An olive vendor replenishes his wares in the covered kasbah of Fez (Fès), Morocco. The old medina of Fez was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981.
Two vendors trying to sell their pumpkins for Halloween. 🎃
He💀-"I told you that no one was going to buy them. Children are afraid of us."
She💀-"But I put on my best clothes. Wait ... someone's coming."
Few minutes later ... another buyer left and they didn't sell the pumpkins! Disappointment again ...oh no!

Saw a few of these peanut or groundnut vendors while walking in the more urban areas of Bali. Didn't buy any though.
There's an interesting dividing line between the bright colors of the fruit and the cloths of the vendors and the colors of the people.
Forget the cafes, Indians still love and adore the street-side tea vendors and their hot servings in glass/ earthen cups. A lot is added in that boiling mix and stirred with the method demonstrated above. The tea...is refreshing. A healthy break while shooting !!!

Possibly one of my biggest to do's railfanning wise while in Florida was to try and capture Y295 rolling down Polk street in downtown Tampa. Usually three times a week Y295 will make it's round trip to Cargill however rumors started to circulate late last year that this job may cease to operate by the end of the year. The rumors have grown quiet but I wasn't going to take the chance. Running later than normal Y295 heads back to the yard in Tampa with empty corn syrup cars passing Street Crust food trailer at the corner of Polk and Tampa streets.
Des Moines Farmer's Market---The absolute best farmer's maret I've ever seen. Literally thousands of people come out. Live music on street after street of vendors. Breakfast burritos and every other form of eat now or take home food.
The focus here is not what it should have been, but I liked it anyway.
