Out for a morning drive in my 1949 Chevy pickup, I came across the "Bionic Bus" which apparently belonged to Bob Wills, Jr.
Mr. Wills, a resident of Conroe, Texas when he passed away claimed to be the illegitimate son of the legendary Western Swing band leader (a claim that the Wills family denies.)
Ah...hahh!
So many vintage trucks and automobiles in Nelson, Nevada. Some operable, some not. Whoever owns this place has a serious addiction to collecting old vehicles.

This stretch of Rt. 40 in Northern Colorado is aptly named the Colorado Headwaters National scenic byway. It is scenic, for sure, and the Colorado river, rather small here, is to our right, behind that line of trees. Roughly ahead of us is the Rocky Mountain National Park where the actual headwaters are. The geotag is somewhat approximate.

There is quite a fleet of vintage vehicles on display in Virginia City, Montana, a town restored to represent life in the Old West.
Often in life, the preparation for the race is more draining then the actual race its self.

Taken a couple of years ago in one of my visits to Ontario, Canada. Spotted about four or five old dilapidated farm trucks lined up along the side of the road with for sale sign.
May have not been necessary but letters and numbers on the plate have been edited ..changed.
One of several vintage vehicles in Bodie, California whose pieces and parts have been scattered about. I wonder if it is a Ford Model T. Who knows when, or how, this vehicle arrived in Bodie, or why it was left behind when the owner departed.
While in 1880 the population of Bodie was estimated around 10,000, by the 1910 census, there were 698 residents. By 1920, 120 people lived here and by 1943 only three, one of which was a paid caretaker. The state of California bought the town and designated it a State Historic Park in 1962 and has maintained the place in a state of arrested decay.
Smithfield Meat Market, City of London. The historic market has been on this site since 1327, but its days are numbered. This and Billingsgate Fish Market, currently based in Poplar, were originally proposed to move to Dagenham but it may be that they will close altogether. This site, which sits between Farringdon and Barbican in The City of London, is to largely become the new City of London Museum.
