Shot this a while back, a lovely classic Golf, great colour, pretty original body and stunning wheels. It was a pleasure to shoot.
Enjoy

I think this is the third year's worth of VW camper vans I'm into now! At the moment I have enough pictures to take me up to June!
Hippy Noo Year to yous all!!
A nightshoot of this highly modified VW Golf, I wanted to catch passing lightrails to add action to the shot.
The van has received numerous nicknames worldwide, including to its popularity during the counterculture movement of the 1960s, "Hippie van".
A huge, huge thank you for these surprise gifts from a kind Flickr friend, Barry, who knew I've been a bit down lately!! What a great gift to come home from work to!!

Taken at Highline Autos Car Show in northeast Phoenix in September 2021. Canon 70D and Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM lens with circular polarizer.
We had thought the VW show wasn't going to happen this summer - city council problems etc. But luckily the show went on, with different organisers!! This year, I bring you 'the red collection'!! I have a few other photos to show you later - although I concentrated on the red ones I saw, I couldn't resist a few other sights at the show!
Yet another VW to share with you all, as we're into another month! February already - Christmas seems so long ago though! Not really got any plans or birthdays this month. What about you?
We brought a few of our older games to play in the camper van, but we were out and about so much we didn't have time to play them!
Shot @ 100 kmph from an nearly 50 years old VW Beetle. Handhold, leaning out of the window. That was fun :)

Reposting this as I still really like the photo :)

This is part of my Macau photography practice trip exercise.
My assignment is to take photos in a junk yard. There are tyres, car seats, and car sandwiches all over there. I spotted a 'new arrival' and decided to give her a colorful final shot.
Taken by Canon EOS 5D Mark II with EF 17-40mm f4L lens with tripod. Took three different expsoures. RAW file processed by Photoshop CS5 HDR Pro to TIF, then processed by Lightroom 3 'Direct Positive' preset.
View the original image you will find how sharp the lens is.
We couldn't fail to notice the VW in the car park when we made our brief stop in Wareham! This isn't the perfect composition, but I wanted to get the van and ducks in the same shot, with the church behind!!
Here is a beautiful line up of split-screen camper vans.
See if you can spot the two dogs in this shot!

JJ and I saw this attractive Beetle on our way to Southsea Dave's when we went for a cuppa. I rather like the setting, in this typical Southsea street!
This Is A 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe [Type 14], Left-Hand-Drive Continental Market Edition, Registration: “FRB 107L”. Was Imported Into The U.K. In 1999, Includes A 1600-CC Flat-4-Cylinder Engine. Fitted W/ Period Porsche Wheels.
I Am Not 100% Certain If The Paint On This Car Is Original. If This Were An Authentic Period ’71-’72 Coat Of Paint, Then I Think This Colour Scheme Is Some Form Of “Alaska Blue Metallic”, “Gemini Metallic”, “Irish Green”, or “Zambezi Green”. The DVLA Lists This Colour As “Blue”, Although At Various Times I Have Seen This Car, It Looks More Green On Some Days, And On Others, Looks More Of A Grey Tint.
Spotted In Ryedale, North Yorkshire, U.K.

Another shot of the Beetle from the other night, I wasn't planning on getting any other shots but after the first one I was motivated to do more as it was such a nice night. Plus there are many angles to be seen on such a nice car. Wanted to do something a bit different on this one, step back a bit and have the car almost isolated in the scene to show the space, the car going past, and a bit of the moon in the top left corner. I did do a magic shot on the deck lid but it didn't work out too well because the engine bay is also green.
Enjoy!
