The vector is of a girl stuck trying her dress on, didn't make it clear enough really it just looks like a weird alienated shape so it didn't make one of my final designs (although I enjoyed doing the text!). It also has a too little connection with the text.

Vector Art my first ever attempt at creating a piece of vector art

Experiment in drawing moving vector dots on a video vectorscope using an FPGA to synthesize a chrominance signal (using only the luminance channel) that is slightly off the colorburst frequency, causing the rotation. The synthetic D1 video signal is sent to an encoder chip to create the analog video signal.

After some time off this series for other work and travel, I spent the week chipping away at this second large sketch to be translated as a vector art piece.

It is now well over six feet high and becoming cumbersome to photograph.

Part of a series of gestural sketches of dancers in situ, done while watching dance students practice their craft. They are quick 1 to 2 minute sketches using a stylus and tablet with a laptop and Adobe Illustrator. All were done at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver, Canada as part of the Salon Series.
