This is an image I took from a glass blowing presentation at Wimberley Glassworks in Wimberley Texas. They were showing how they make pieces of their new collection called dragon scale vases.

Smile on Saturday: Vases & Flower Pots

Vase of tulips in our kitchen on the window sill.

Lovely vibrant colour in the Winter to look at.

perfect and deep love................

The most known meaning of tulips is perfect and deep love. As tulips are a classic flower that has been loved by many for centuries they have been attached with the meaning of love. They're ideal to give to someone who you have a deep, unconditional love for, whether it's your partner, children, parents or siblings.

Smile on Saturday Theme: vases and flower pots

Gerbera daisy in a vase; still life.

Kleine Vase für Looking close... on Friday!

Another flower bouquet that I expect will last quite some time.

Fujifilm X-Pro1; edited in Silver Efex Pro3. Ceramic vase made by Eleni O'Hara in the early 1970s. The object to me has a threatening quality and comes across as a relentless hoover tormenting me with the fear of my memories being sucked into a void and disappearing forever.

I wanted to do one of these pictures for awhile so I guess this is the day!
