On my nephew birthday I've acted as a photographer, some of his sister's friends where playing around with a vampire denture...It was pretty hilarious at the time I took this shot!

de Havilland Vampire T11 (WZ518). The de Havilland DH.100 Vampire was a British jet-engined fighter of the Second World War, the second jet-powered aircraft commissioned by the Royal Air Force during the War (the first being the Gloster Meteor), although it was not used in combat. The Vampire served with front line RAF squadrons until 1955 and continued in use as a trainer until 1966. It also served with many air forces worldwide, and set several aviation firsts and records.

A Vampire Jet in Irish Air Corps livery, suspended in the large exhibits room at National Museum, Collins Barracks, Dublin.

The Air Corps currently has no operational fighter jet in service.

Note jerry-built armoured car in UN livery to right below the jet. This car was deployed to the Congo in the 1960s.

Vampire Knight Cosplay

Back in December Tim and I did Christmas photos for my best friend's parents. They are a fun couple to hang around, especially because of moments like this.

Aaron (rockstar) wanted to dress up like a cocky rockstar, and make Lori (vampire mistress/his wife) a groupie.

Lori is not wearing vampire teeth. I did that with editing. :)

The Museum's Vampire (Construction No. 4139) was delivered to the RAAF on 22 May 1958 and was put into service with the Central Flying School at East Sale in Victoria. It was subsequently transferred to No. 1 Advance Flying Training School at Pearce in WA. The aircraft served most of its RAAF time in the west until disposed of in January 1970. A79-617 was sold and exported to the USA where after many years of storage it was returned to flying condition and operated privately until purchased by David Lowy in 1998. After being shipped back to Australia the Vampire underwent extensive restoration and repainting before arriving at the Temora Aviation Museum. In February 2001 David Lowy donated the Vampire to the Temora Aviation Museum.
