Aesthetically speaking, matching the height of the side rail to the stone guard makes sense. Taking the time to engineer and design a trailer to look good is as important as the quality that goes into manufacturing it.

I am SO incredibly lucky. My truck was hit by a large piece of sheet metal that flew out of the back of a utility trailer on I-5 between Federal Way and Kent Washington. It flew up into the air and I could not avoid hitting it without causing a chain reaction crash. It struck the front of my truck, then got caught underneath and I drug it for about half a mile (I changed lanes and got near the side of the road expecting my tires to be sliced)
The only damage I had was the license plate frame, license plate and some cosmetic damage on a tow hook.
My lights are intact, my grill is intact, everything underneath the truck is intact and my tires are fine. The truck wasn't even scratched when it finally came out from underneath. I only hope it didn't hurt anyone behind me.

LED Lights are the latest in lighting technology, they're a superior choice to incandescent lights that are found on most open trailers.
A nice, clean installation, these LED bullet lights are perfect where space is limited. Don't let their size fool you, these lights emit more light than an incandescent light and last thousands of hours longer.
