A Cross Country Voyager heads over the River Usk at Newport working 1V58 10:05 Edinburgh Waverley to Plymouth
Looking across the River Usk, 60063 heads out of the station and across the Great Western Railway Usk bridge working 6B13 05:00 Robeston Sidings to Westerleigh Murco.
An unidentified TfW Coradia Class 175/1 crosses the briny Usk with 1V95, the 10.41 Holyhead to Llanelli service, about to stop at Newport, South Wales on a dark and foreboding Thursday afternnon, late October, 27.10.22.

Not the largest of Lighthouses, but it has served its community since 1893 with a gas powered light until 1972, when it was converted to electric.
The lighthouse is now owned and managed by Newport Harbour Commissioners, a Board established by an Act of Parliament, responsible for safe navigation, dredging and pilotage within the Newport Harbour and River Usk up to Newbridge-on-Usk.
