Trek in Winter after 3500mtr. rarely without snow. I trekked twice with Heavy snow in the Kumbu valley they are Dec. 2007 and Feb. 2011.Oohhh very cold, its difficlt to imagine how cold it was.........

Salpa Lake, lie between Tumlingtar and Lukla "Arun Valley Trek"

Normally it is absolutely blue lake, but, in winter its is frozen ice lake......

No aquamarine in this lake, very cold...very high up.
