Loch Morlich in the Cairngorms.
Well Santa brought me Affinity 2 for Christmas... so spent today upgrading and post processing some images. It's a great upgrade and some really nice changes... I need to get my head round luminosity masking but that's for when im not feeling so under the weather!
Im on day 6 of COVID isolation now and still testing positive... Im sticking with the guidance that says you keep isolated till you test negative for two days... or after 10 days if you are still testing positive! Apparently based on a report I read today from Imperial college you can test positive for us to a month... mores if you are asymptomatic which I am... But no matter who you are after 10 days you are not contagious so others are then safe. I've too many vulnerable relatives not to be cautious.
Sometimes, I think to myself that I'd be far more human if I were just a robot. Maybe that's not so strange, after all.
Lots of items you can go enjoy while shopping around on mainstores! Pretty new hair from Exile! Fancy new swimsuit from Eliavah that can be used in a multitude of ways! Sorry, I'm too pasty for the beach. Catch rides on my blog!

Charleston's iconic upgrade, the Arthur Ravenel Bridge constructed in 2005. It replaced 2 older bridges constructed in 1929 and 1966. The 1929 Bridge rated a 4 on a scale of 100,while the newer bridge was rated "imminently deficient". Senator Arthur Ravenal was instrumental in getting the Federal funding for this beauty...

CP 5936 and 6258 creep out across the Kennebec at Moosehead, ME with a rail train in tow. The train had taken the siding to allow CP 250-5 to pass. Afterwards, they would pull beyond the road for Brookfield Energy, and would proceed to drop the last 8 or so strands of rail.

SOO 2201-A and 738 thunder upgrade through the rain and fall color on September 24, 1977. Train 911 is west of Engadine nearing Swift with 84 cars. Despite these two birds being common and on some artifal structure (bird feeder) they are nice subjects to practice on with my new Z6iii and NIKKOR 180-600! Before the warblers and vireos show back up it will be helpful to figure out the settings and custom button layout for a fast and accurate setup.(no post processing used in either photo) Nikon z6iii 11/27/24 Northern cardinal in backyard.

With WE 303 on the point in D&RGW paint and a Grande tunnel motor 3rd along with a couple patched motors one could be forgiven for thinking this was some sort of Rio Grande revival in Ohio. The reality is that this is a Wheeling stone train out of Parkertown (N of Bellevue) running as WE 774 to Akron, OH with 80 loads. At least two of the hoppers were also former Rio Grande cars. In this shot the train is grinding upgrade just past the Rt 20 / Norwalk bypass east of Norwalk, OH. 5/16/2020
Essentially my first piece of artwork created using Adobe Photoshop 2025…………and what a frustrating project this turned out to be! In addition to dealing with the “learning curve” of having to work with a new and unfamiliar photo-editing software, I discovered , to my chagrin, that not only did Adobe make many changes in this software, they eliminated several features that I have been used to working with for over 25 years! I spend as much time…….well actually more time searching for answers and explanations on the internet in reference to the use of, fixing glitches and trying to find where certain controls, panels and features have been relocated. And then dealing with application freezes and glitches. Thankfully YouTube proved to be a good source for information and of course video tutorials. On the other hand, however, proving not to be helpful in several other instances. One of the problems I ran into was that I am working with the newest version of Photoshop (2025) and not many graphic artists have yet to embrace version 26.2.0. In past years upgrades in applications software (and operating systems) usually did not entail major, radically changes but in today's world technology seems to have an obsession with “changing things” - many times, for no other reason other than change for change sake only.

Actually I probably could have done this using PSCS6 in half the time……………
Hope ya’all enjoy…………..
Working steadily northbound on the LCL sub is a Q248 emerging from a dense fog on its way to Sparta and points north.
Taking advantage of the rotten, discarded railroad tie pile at the "Worm Farm" on Whitewaters westside to document a five headed Saturday T004 with nothing but painted power. The three year project to replace the aging jointed rail along the Waukesha sub was only 1/3 complete, and 40's still ruled the roost. Just another one of those it'll be around forever kinda scenes. For those heritage nuts like me, former MoPac, DRGW, Rock Island, Northwestern, and NdeM motors fill out this lash
The old pedestrian bridge was torn down and the completion of the new pedestrian bridge across the Arkansas River is just about complete, along with the white water rapids....not this summer but by winter.
