Updating

So, its that time of the year where we all go back to school. I start tommorrow. Yay-ish?

Future: I'm gonna try and post as much as I can, hopefully once a week. I'll still fave and comment as always, but uploads are gonna be slow.

I hope to have my Batcave v3, Doctor StrangerDanger, and Arrow uploaded within the next week. :)

Richmond Marina

An updated shot of this bird from a horrible shot earlier in the year. Glad it came back again for another year.

He was way out in the Marina so I put on my doubler. I took it off the tripod to shoot some close Oystercatchers and the scoters took flight. I don't do very well hand holding the 500 for flight shots and with the doubler was even worse. It did not come out bad, though. Better than the last flight shot I got of him.

2015 Bird List

I wanted publicly announce that I will be taking an indefinite hiatus from blogging. I've decided to go back to school and I need to give it 100% of my attention. Thank you so much for all of your support over the last 4 years, it means so much to me! <3

For those of you wishing to know Little Bungee's post surgery status, I will offer updates here.

January 25

Bungee is still in Hospital today recovering from surgery and also so that his doctor can monitor his condition to make sure he is progressing. We expect a call from her later.

She wishes to keep him a few days. We miss him dreadfully but will comply with the doctors' directions for Bungee.

Thank you to everyone for the heartfelt messages and good wishes. We are truly happy to realize that we have such caring friends on Fickr.

The vet says Little Bungee is doing well. We hope to welcome him back home in a couple of days.

Updating

The Red Bud between Staunton and Verona was pretty awesome this year and was glad to spend some time on the Shenandoah Valley. Here the local headed for Weyers Cave is passing through Verona and the last of the good spots for Red Bud.

Last week I posted an image of a Pigeon sitting on her nest and I titled it "Your Own Home". Some people were curious about the babies and truthfully, this is my first time seeing Pigeon babies. I noticed these two just yesterday and they were not moving much. So they are quite young yet. I am surprised by their appearance! They look almost prehistoric and nothing like the adult. It's the orange tufts of fluff that really surprise me. I hope to capture their development over the next few days and I will keep you posted. Happy Wing Wednesday!

Ron had total left hip replacement surgery on Aug. 1 and returned home the next day. Unfortunately, that next morning Ron fell and Edgar had to call 911. No serious damage was done by the fall, but he was hospitalized for three days where he was treated for a urinary tract infection. He's back home now and had a visit from the home nurse today...she says he's coming along fine. The fall and subsequent hospital stay were quite an aggravating delay in recovery from surgery.

two oldies, "decapoda and "of snails and shells" have been replaced on the marketplace.

I updated my Stug and my M3 Stuart. I am going to post better photos later. Sorry I have not been building recently I have not really had inspirations beside updating my tanks I have not really built anything. I also need to figure out what I am building for BFVA 2018, any suggestions leave a comment.

Just want to update everyone about the storm. Even though the storm grew in strength at the last minute, it had no impact on the greater Houston area. We were roughly 115 miles from the point of impact. No rain, no winds and nothing more than a cloudy sky outside. Not sure that we will even get a shower from the system today.

I have not listened to the news this and have no idea about what happened in Cameron Louisiana and to the east of Cameron and am unable to give anyone any kind of information with that respect. All I can say is that Houston had no problems. Comments are off and this is only an update. No need to fav or take any action.
