Unity Temple, 1905-1908, Frank Lloyd Wright, 875 Lake St.
One of the most important Wright's building in the beginning of the 20th century. Many people think it's the first modern building. Concrete only. Double core: the taller side is the Temple, and the shorter side is the House. No window at the street side. Lighting mostly from roof windows with yellow and green stained glass.
Wright said when he designed this building, for the first time he realized that the true soul of a building is not wall but space.
i'm hoping that this doesn't come across as too amateur. please pay attention to not only the color scheme, but also to the repetitive use of lines, texture, and the oval shape.
A protest in support of the 600 families of asylum seekers being forced out of their temporary housing after the UK Border Agency (UKBA) cancelled a contract with the Glasgow City Council which provided the asylum seekers with housing.
The protest took place on November 20th, 2010, outside the UK Border Agency's Glasgow office on Brand Street in Govan, Glasgow. It was organized by Positive Action in Housing (PAIH) [http://www.paih.org]

Our train ride started out really awesome, but then things went wrong. We were stranded for a full day due to storms. Then Rowan got a dislocated elbow, and we had to get off the train and take an ambulance to the hospital, while the train left without us. My parents had to drive across provinces just to come get us by truck.
