This unique flower was in a bouquet I received for a birthday gift. I'm thinking it's a Chrysanthemum but if it's something else, please let me know.

Thank you all so much for your visits, faves and comments. Have a lovely day!

Winter is coming, and autumn, the only remaining flower, seeks some life!

“By being yourself you put something wonderful in the world that was not there before.” – Edwin Elliott

Old, unique, and full of personality… The Tufa is otherworldly, but you need to search to find the best views. When we finally arrived at the South Tufa in the afternoon, we were thrilled and surprised by the number and beauty of these incredible God made structures on the lake... There is an easy boardwalk trail down to the Lake. The views are magnificent and beautiful. This lake is often used as the face of 'wish you were here' postcards, and deservedly so.

It is a unique experience when you see such pictures early in the morning at sunrise: The southern end of the Schrammstein chain with the "Vordere Torstein", the "Meurerturm" and the "Kesselturm" rain out of the sea of fog in the Elbe valley and shine in the morning sun...

Ottawa's downtown, unique Convention Centre, on the Rideau. And yes it's in the shape of a large, glass spacesip. Beautiful to see in person.

This is a very unique view along the canyon created by the river Skjálfandafljót right after it tumbles down a ravine creating the picturesque Goðafoss waterfall. When I looked at its bordering rocks I saw all sorts of prehistoric beasts like the one to the right in the background, which looks like a giant turtle raising it head :)

A unique and somewhat spooky take on Hawaii's state flower.

I've never seen another jumping spider that looked like this one. Her patterns seem pretty unique to me and in my opinion her coloration is beautiful. Photographed in Pasadena, MD.

My iPhone could not capture how truly unique this cloud looked. I thought I had captured the whole circle but unfortunately I didn’t look until later. :(

The unique rock formations at Mupe Bay next to Dorset's famous Lulworth Cove. The bay is only accessible by crossing the British Army's heavy gun ranges at Mupe, and even then, only via a steep climb up from the village of Lulworth and a walk of several miles from the car park. Ive visited several times now, always early in the morning, and never once seen another soul there despite Lulworth itself being one of the biggest tourist traps in the county

Distinctive pair and . . they both are designed to use their razor-sharp wheels to cut slices through pizzas! But these two specific bikes will not be used for that and instead will be enjoyed TOGETHER as a pair of lovely and unique objects.

at Peconic Herb Farm...

The least colorful part of this colorful plant is what caught my attention -- a single white flower.

Unique medium-sized owl of the boreal forest. Remarkably long-tailed for an owl; reminiscent of a small hawk in flight with quick, snappy wingbeats. Pale eyes give it an angry look. Brownish overall with white spotting above, barred underparts, and spotted crown. Feeds on small rodents by sight and sound. Often seen perched on the very top of a spruce tree or snag, surveying the surrounding landscape for prey. When rodent populations crash, large numbers of Northern Hawk Owls can move south of their normal range. Merlin

Loved this homemade beauty.

"The Parkette is a memorial to the members of the Kemble Women's Institute, past and present, and it celebrates the 110th anniversary of the organization and features a unique tea service carving of rock and concrete. Stunning views to the east over Georgian Bay."
