Paused for a morning bath along the Hood Canal just outside of Union, WA; this seagulls weight seems too much for the weathered dock to bear.

Getting a running hug from my daughter (one of my favorite games). We are outside of our house (first sunny/non-rainy day in a week or so). I really love where I live! My husband and I traveled across America to find a place that was perfect for us and this was it! Mountains water and lots of greenery. I feel so at peace in nature...it makes me feel like part of the whole.

At the big bend in the Hood Canal, there is the town of Union and its marina. On the distance shore is my hometown of Hoodsport. The Olympic mountains overlooks the region. It is a beautiful place to live and visit.
