Photography runs in the family. Here is grandfather Oscar Grønli with one of his many cameras. Must be 1910.
From my favourite forest during spring. I look so much forward to photographing a beautiful confirmand in her national costume there tomorrow!
These are wood anemones (Anemone nemorosa).

I haven't shown you beautiful Tora yet - the last confirmand I photographed last year. I brought her and her Border Terrier puppy to one of the nicest places of the Jæren area, in this perfect autumn evening light.
Since most confirmands take their photos during spring, it was fun getting two assignments during autumn too. We were lucky to find some green forest outside even though we had entered October, and she also could go barefoot at the beach and in the sea.

Kjersti og jeg har tatt en kveldstur ned til Søndre Park, som under ungdoms-OL også kalles Sjogg Park. De har laget en rutsjebane i is jeg må prøve.

Youth (Ungdom), a statue by Carl Eldh, in Gothenburg's Liseberg amusement park. The original bronze casting was made in 1912. This version has been in the park since 1948.
Unge musikere i Frelsesarmeens guttemusikk ca 1918. Korpset ble startet av adjutant Lindvig i 1916/17. Dette var visstnok byens første guttemusikkorps. Foran fra venstre; Gunnar Tysland, Johan Aas og Egil Tysland. I midten fra venstre; Edgar Olsen, adjutant og leder Olivarius Haugland, Marius Aakervik, Erling Kvarving og Torstein Aakervik Bak fra venstre; Fridtjof Waagan, Sigurd Okstad, Olav Aakervik, Sigurd Vindseth, Per Lund og Gudmund Pettersen.
