The European Commission jointly with the UNDP will be organising a side event on the European External Investment Plan (EIP) and its role in reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The EIP and its European Fund for Sustainable Development (EFSD) provide a coherent approach to address development challenges, with the main objective of leveraging additional private investments, improving business environments and creating decent jobs.
