Day 48: It rained alot today! This is my golf size umbrella that kept me dry :D I love the bright colours.
The paper wasp is sometimes called the umbrella wasp because their nests consist of a single exposed comb suspended by a narrow stalk.
Every corner of Paris opens the door to another visual feast. This was a small outdoor mall close to the Madelaine. The colour brought me in, the style kept me there.

On a very rainy day in the Grand Tetons National Park, I hiked across a long open field of tall grasses in order to take a landscape image of beautiful aspens in flaming autumn color. The rain was coming down hard while I was setting up my tripod for the pictures. Suddenly I heard someone behind and a young girl with a pink umbrella and rain jacket came walking past me and into my frame. I waited a while for her to take her cell phone image and leave but she didn't and I was getting soaking wet. So I went ahead and took several shots with her in the frame. I didn't process the images until recently when I decided to "photoshop her out" but after doing it I wasn't satisfied and went back to the RAW file and kept her in. Ones eye is automatically drawn to that Pink Umbrella. So here it is. The girl with the pink umbrella.
