Here’s a different perspective on a lovely maroon and white lily photographed in total darkness with high intensity 365nm ultraviolet light. The white edges take on a cyan shade and the maroon has a magical fluorescent glow under the black light. This is my first attempt with UV photography and I am pleased with the outcome, it’s a striking transformation.

Developed with Darktable 4.8.0.
Cherry blossom under UV light showing why it is so attractive to insects. The centre of the flower has an amazing glow and if you shine a UV light at a cherry tree in blossom all the flowers sparkle. Schneider enlarging lens / Pentax bellows / focus stacked in Affinity.

What fun it is to walk in the city and discover many murals. I was searching for another one but on my way I found that one titled Ultraviolet from Drew Young.
Quel plaisir de se promener dans la ville et de découvrir de nombreuses fresques murales. J'en cherchais une autre, mais en chemin, j'ai trouvé celle-ci intitulée Ultraviolet crée par Drew Young en 2019.
