Breathtaking performance take-off by "Fang 11", ZJ947, operated by IX(B) Squadron on Lossiemouth's last scheduled flying day of the decade.

Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 ZK356 (423/BS117) of the RAF with unit BAE Warton displaying at Farnborough. Bogus name below the canopy, must be of some significance though.

ZJ914 aka BlackJack lighting up the skies of Fairford

ZJ929 catches the late afternoon sun as it taxies from the main ASP to runway 25 at RAF Coningsby.

The first flight of the Typhoon (not including the EAP) was some 58 years after the Spitfire (f.f. 27/03/1936). The Spitfire still looks graceful even today, I wonder if we will think the same of the Typhoon in years to come.
