Jaipurâs most distinctive landmark, the Hawa Mahal is an extraordinary, fairy-tale, pink sandstone, delicately made palace that rises five storeys with its numerous windows and corridors. There are total of 953 windows which are uniquely carved in the Rajasthani pattern and designs. The king was worshipper of lord Krishna so he had appearance of this palace resembling the crown of Lord Krishna in the form of peacock feathers. This shot of the inside of the Hawa Mahal catches all the glory of this beautiful masterpiece of Rajasthani architecture!

A husband looking through a newspaper came upon a study that said women use more words than men.
Excited to prove to his wife that he had been right all along when he accused her of talking too much, he showed her the study results. It read "Men use about 15,000 words per day, but women use 30,000".
The wife thought for a while, then finally she said to her husband "It's because we have to repeat everything we say."
The husband said "What?"

When I was young

Those days are gone
While the trails have taken me to some interesting adventures, not only last year but in previous years, 2019 was more of a settling in and adjustment period for me: getting used to a new home, getting a new driver's license, new doctors, changing my photo business name, getting used to being around more people in the home life (harder than one might think, since I'm a loner by nature), doing more of what I never thought I'd ever do (cooking, yardwork, helping my sister navigate the ins and outs of a divorce and other issues). There were highs and lows, both big and small.
The beginning of 2020 looks like it will still be a period of quietude (is that a word?). I've been trying to think of what great thing to write here, and nothing comes to mind. The "travel bug" is biting down hard, but I have responsibilities to attend to, so no big photo trips planned until later this year, and perhaps, a possible longer-term photo journey, if things pan out (not holding my breath here, so I won't say anything further to jinx it). For now, this quiet time is used to build up my brand, spiffy up my website (still working on that key wording thing, although I'm almost finished with the national parks galleries, which pleases me). Oh, I have a new Twitter site (@rebecca_latson).
These are small steps which will, like a snowball being rolled into a snowperson, lead to bigger things, I do believe. The trails *will* take me somewhere this 2020, but those leading lines are vanishing points to destinations unknown. In the meantime, to borrow a phrase from a Facebook friend:
"I plan to carry the momentum of small steps on to bigger things in 2020."
Wherever the trails may take YOU in 2020, remember to pack out what you pack in, stay safe, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

since flickr update their policy
i think my 2nd flickr will get removed
anytime soon i assume since its not pro account.
I'd still upload picture on my first flickr which is pro,
but i will move these kind of content such as
NSFW, Lotd, Blogging to twitter.
