A twilight shot in my yard, of Syringa berries silhouetted against the sky as the sun sets behind the mountains to the West. If i recall correctly, it was taken in winter, and our winter sunsets are gorgeous. Often the setting sun is red as a tomato. A marvelous sight. The only added element is the png birds.

The ethereal light of twilight tinted Bonsai Rock with a soft glow…
Bonsai Rock, with those iconic miniature trees, is Lake Tahoe’s most famous rock. It’s just a short hike from the road to get there but it is a steep descent. I would describe it more as a slide than a hike. :)

I think that dieting is on the horizon for Ms. Twilight 😊, although, I'll probably have to put the others on a diet, too. I learned the hard way about the dangers of allowing pets to become overweight.

Back to the sunset last week. I stayed on the shore till the sun had set and then started for home through Glen Wyllin. I happened to glance back and was pleasantly surprised to see the colours were developing now that the sun was below the horizon.
