This Aynsley Bone China of England - Green Reaburn pattern - circa 1775 comes with 2 size cups. Presumably one for coffee and one for tea.
Yes, we do reach for the bad snacks, but a good bit of natural health is the best! I started out with a composition of a raspberry, 2 blueberries a hazel nut and a grape, but gradually ate them till I was left with these.
I was going to shoot Pistachios but realised I’d eaten them all!
While I was making my son pacing back and forth to take some shots, the ending of the Queen Invisible Man video came to mind so i merge two shots .....

I know I don't normally multi post but this is the same location taken earlier in the year. A lovely Spring morning, I had just been to a nearby bluebell wood. The vibrant yellow rape seed was alongside.

This is a couple of the Roseate Spoonbill flying overhead. There were four who circled for more than 15 minutes witch is uncommon.

My friends tell me they have learned a new language by being my buddy on instant messages. Now I just noticed I have been handing out spanish invites to all of my friends for two days! Once upon a time I would visit my grandmother twice a week, every week for a couple of hours. When I would get up to leave she would say to me "You didn't stay very long, come back when you can stay longer." Well, that is how I feel about some of these butterflies.
The Palamedes is one that I will actually chase about the yard. They visit on occasion and they don't stay long enough if you ask me. This one was playing hide and seek. He would sip some nectar then fly over the fence to the neighbors yard and circle back to a different location in the yard. I would find him, try and get a shot or two and off he would go again.
Little bugger, kept his eye on me the whole time and stayed pretty much out of reach of the camera. Like the Tiger, I have never had the opportunity to raise any of these beauties. Perhaps one day that will change. For now, I shall just enjoy the visits and play the games. Well, I won't always play the games, sometimes the visits will have to be enjoyed in my head. Just knowing they are out there is a good feeling.

The Molenviergang is a mill gang consisting of four windmills , north of Zevenhuizen on the Rotte . The mills were built around 1722.
The mill quadrangle was built to drain the Tweemanspolder . In 1953, the mills came into the possession of the Foundation for the maintenance of the mill quadrangle of the Tweemanspolder. In 1950, the scoop wheel of one of the mills was replaced by a centrifugal pump , which, however, did not meet the requirements. This replacement caused an imbalance in the quadrangle. During a restoration in 2009/2010, this mill was again equipped with a slightly deeper scoop wheel, which improved the balance. The mills were decommissioned in 1953 to drain the polder. They are still operational and operate twice a month, on Saturdays. There are no visitor facilities.
On 1 July 2008 it was announced that the Dutch government would provide €472,035 in subsidies for carrying out overdue maintenance on the four mills. This amount was supplemented with money from the province of South Holland, donors and sponsors. The renovation work was completed in May 2011.

The conservation area I visit regularly has been closed to people twice in the last couple of months as conservation officers tried to capture and remove some agressive Turkeys. They have so far failed in this effort, and people continue to antagonize, and then provoke attacks by, the birds.
This was a fairly recent image. I was lying in the snow photographing something else and the Turkeys wandered by, perplexed by the late dump of snow and trying to get to possible food sources underneath.

Nothing twice
Nothing can ever happen twice.
In consequence, the sorry fact is2
that we arrive here improvised
and leave without the chance to practice.
Even if there is no one dumber,
if you're the planet's biggest dunce,
you can't repeat the class in summer:
this course is only offered once.
No day copies yesterday,
no two nights will teach what bliss is
