The former TWA terminal at JFK Airport in New York. Now the TWA Hotel. It is a trip inside! It's full of history from the 60's with an airplane off the back, which makes a great backdrop for photos.

Am letzten Freitag ging es für den angekündigten EBS-Holzzug nach Sachsen-Anhalt. Denn 143 822 "White Lady" sollte diesen Zug bespannen. So gut wie nie ist diese Lok am Braker Holzzug.

Tatsächlich zog 143 822 in Doppeltraktion mit 143 848 diesen Zug als DGS 60960 von Saalfeld nach Brake (Unterweser) hier durch Schönebeck-Frohse Richtung Magdeburg. Auch wenn es nicht so aussieht, es war extrem knapp mit dem Licht. Nur ganz kurz vor einer Mega-Wolke, die kurz darauf einen EGP Zug verschluckte, konnte EBS aufgenommen werden.

The newly renovated TWA Hotel: The TWA terminal, now still Terminal 5 at JFK, is Eero Saarinen's most well known works, one of the best examples of mid-century modern architecture.

In 2014 they opened there doors for Open House New York. Architect: Eero Saarinen
