Located at the heart of the University Park campus, between Gwynn Wilson Student Union and the Trojan Bookstore, USC’s new Ronald Tutor Campus Center is a magnificent central gathering place for current and prospective students, faculty, staff, family members, alumni and other campus visitors. This view shows the center’s International Plaza, bordered by a sweeping colonnade and featuring (to the right) Brunkow Fountain and the Steps of Troy, a grand staircase leading to the second floor. This is why I never got around to flickr today. On Mondays I mentor a little boy in a Los Angeles school. There is a program in the US that matches one church with one public school to help with at risk kids. In LA, at risk kids means homeless children, kids with one or both parents in jail, kids of gang parents, or kids living in poverty. One adult mentor meets with one child every week for the entire time the child is in elementary school to help with school work. At our school, we have 50 mentors tutoring 50 children. It is so wonderful to see their face light up when they see us! I have kids stopping me in the hall asking me where they can get hope!

I have a new little boy this year because my first little boy is off in Jr. High now. I love Mondays, but they are so very busy! HBM!
