King Tut's iconic mask. Tutankhamun's mask and mummy arrived yesterday at my house (in action figure form), just in time for Smile on Saturday. (I was stumped on this week's theme prior to this.)

Aside from Cleopatra, Tutankhamun is probably the best-known of the Egyptian pharaoh since the discovery of his tomb in the early 20th century.

This male blackbird, who visits my garden several times a day, answers to the name of ‘Tut Tut’.
He is clearly distinguished from other visiting males because of the dark grey markings on the top of his bill.
If I call him (Tut Tut) when he is around he comes for his food. Very tame, but clearly cupboard love ❤️
Poor quality - taken through double-glazing so a bit of PP used.
This is Tutt Head , Mumbles where the coastguard station used to be as seen through a wooden sign. Caption is because I didn't realise at the time that I hadn't captured the whole sign - I've left out a bit from the top.

I used to go drinking here... The old "Tut 'n' Shive" pub on Teall Street, Wakefield. No longer serving alcohol. No longer serving anything!

The King Tut exhibit is beginning its US tour at Union Station in Kansas City. It is a multi-media event which features immaculate recreation of the tomb and its contents in perfect detail. It was a wonderful idea and I loved it!
It should tour the world over the next few years and I highly recommend seeing the show. Here is the interior of the Union Station - a Kansas City Landmark.
