The Brunkeberg Tunnel in Norrmalm, Stockholm, is a 231-metre-long passageway for pedestrians through the esker Brunkebergsåsen. The tunnel was inaugurated in 1886 by King Oscar II.

...well, it's metal, but none of the above...just a roll of chicken wire.

Looking for a unique experience in Shanghai, try the laser show in the 647 meter long Bund Sightseeing Tunnel under the Huangpu River which connects the Bund to Pudong.

back from a 5 day photoworkshop in Berlin with first results

Rock Creek Park, Rock Creek and Potomac Pkwy NW, Washington, DC, USA.

Looking down the East loop of the Mail Rail tunnels as it disappears into the distance. We'll be coming back this way, as we're about to go down the West loop.

 

The Mail Rail tunnels were used to transport mail all around London on a network of underground electric trains. It opened in 1927, and only ceased service in 2003.

As part of London Lumiere, this well photographed tunnel at Adams Plaza, took on some welcome colour.

Many tunnels in Taiwan, some were very long. I took this picture through the old tunnel while in the car.

Light at the end of the tunnel,

There is always light @ the end of the tunnel.......
