The Tub is a large crater in the cliff with a tunnel connection to the sea. It is 10 to 30 metres deep and 50 metres across with a granite base. For the adventure-seeker, it is worth the climb down into the crater. Beyond The Tub is a dramatic cliff face that offers long views to the south along Talia Beach.

Perhaps this hot tub wasn't the guys best idea.

Stuck indoors today with my daughter who was feeling unwell.

We decided to have a bit of fun with the camera.

I watched a short documentary about Gregory Crewdson the other day... and was amazed (totally amazed) at what he does to "get" his photos. Clearly he has plenty of power, and plenty of resources, because he manages to get entire towns shut down, buildings set aflame, etc. etc. He uses an extensive crew, armed with battalions of movie lights, and fog machines, and mechanical booms, and on and on it goes. And I have to say that, watching this... I felt hugely relieved.

Looking at images like Crewdson's, I've often felt a kind of envy. Like... oh, sure, lucky you - finding a street with NO vehicles parked on it, no pedestrians walking by, almost no buildings lit, and just one single car, suspended mid-turn... in perfect juxtaposition to the woman in the red dress who just HAPPENS to be sitting in the one lit window in the whole one-horse town. Now I know it's all set up. Which doesn't diminish my admiration for his talent. It emboldens me.

And... yes. Of course. I just happened to find this severed leg in one of the long disused bathrooms in Providence House. How could I not take its picture?

Candlelight Twin Tub on the farm. Made it into Explore #490, October 10th, 2007. It is difficult for these little ones to sit still :-)

It’s a good thing that a photogenic train is finally running regularly on line 96 again. Just ask my brother - he's already taken countless photos of this Ouigo!

Today, Thursday, February 20th, it was my turn. The weather was cloudy, which meant the midday run could be photographed further north than Braine-le-Comte. So, during my delayed lunch break, I took a quick drive to Tubize, specifically to the walking path between the Etangs de Coeurcq and Stéhoux.

And right on time the train appeared! Luckily, just before a passing train could block the view of the beautiful rake of carriages.

It was also the first time I managed to photograph this train with a completely homogeneous set of carriages right behind the locomotive, a wonderful sight!
