A through the viewfinder (TTV) shot. I used an old 2 1/2 camera, focused on the viewfinder, thus the harsh, grainy look.
Through the Viewfinder. I did this today for the first time. I must say my arms were so tired of trying to get the shot. I was determine to get it right. I have to say once you get the hang of it it is fun. If you are interest in this read about it in ttv, through the viewfinder. Thank you!

if we idolise wealth,
we create poverty;
if we idolise success,
we create the inadequate;
if we idolise power,
we create powerlessness.

Not having an old Kodak Duaflex camera, I have been trying to fake the effects created by so-called "through the viewfinder" images, which I must admit to liking (see here for the real ones and details of how they do it - www.flickr.com/groups/throughtheviewfinder/). This is my best attempt so far. So much for 10 megapixels...
How to make photos look like TTV, taken through the viewfinder.
Open the image you´re gonna work with. Crop it to a sqare and
size it down to 1024 x 1024. (That´s the size of the viewfinder image I´ve got)
Open the Image of the viewfinder. Drag it on your image. Make
sure it´s the top layer. (Your Image should be the background layer)
At the Layers window, change normal to multiply
Now you got yourself an TTV photo. Sometimes I erase with a soft
large brush part of the viewfinder if I find it too much.
Here you find the tutorial and the TTV image: www.soffia.net/tutorialttv.html

It's a 1964 Seagull 4A-103, recommended to me by Charlie!
I don't have any 6x6 film yet, so I took some shots through the viewfinder while the snow hasn't fully melted yet.
I know it's a bit cliché, but I'm quite excited! :)
