Early-purple orchids (Orchis mascula) are coming back to the reserve though they are growing in abundance on the other side of a dry wall fence. I saw only one last year (www.flickr.com/photos/sergeysmirnov/52073708840/). Visiting the Reserve today I spotted quit a few growing along a steep muddy path. This pair caught my attention. Psalm 20
The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Ayrmer Cove is a beautiful, secluded sandy beach, which you can reach on foot most easily from either Challaborough Beach or the nearby village or Ringmore.
On this particular day we walked down from the National Trust car park and were surprised at the fury of the Ocean and you can imagine my desperation to capture the mood. First of all I took some LE a couple way back in this account but my remote release stopped working (and why I bought cable releases now for my camera’s) I just don’t tether my iPhone never have. It was possibly the most exhilarating photo session I personally ever had. It was very cold and very windy but I loved it...
Below is the link where the famous Shark fin rock is more clearly visible...
There are many windpumps scattered around the Norfolk countryside and they were originally used to drain the land. They are in various states of decay and people often mistake them for windmills. This one at Horsey is on the broads not far from Winterton-on-sea and is maintained by the National Trust (NT)
Taken at Horsey windpump, Norfolk, England.
Tyntesfield was saved by the National Trust and is a wonderful timecapsule of Victorian life in a grand house, upstairs and downstairs. It is just outside Bristol near Wraxall in North Somerset. It comes to life in Spring!
Trust ...
Many groups allow ONLY FIVE PICS despite invitations impossible to share, think about allowing more publications. Thank you :)
The best way to know if you can trust someone is to trust him ...

We're taught to expect unconditional love from our parents, but I think it is more the gift our children give us. It's they who love us helplessly, no matter what or who we are.

Open Ended
The sculpture Open Ended by the American artist Richard Serra weighs almost 216 tonnes. The corten steel work is 4 metres high, 18 metres long and 7 metres wide.
This is a piece full of contrasts: both heavy and elegant, industrial and organic, stately and playful, convex and concave. Six vaulted steel plates moulded together form a maze. Open Ended is a work best experienced by walking through it.
The border is a mix of herbaceous plants, such as Euphorbia 'Excalibur', Geranium 'Orion' and Cirsium rivalare 'Atropurpureum' and summer flowering shrubs, Staphylea holocarpa 'Rosea' and Deutzia longifolia 'Veitchii'.
“Do not lose hope — what you seek will be found. Trust ghosts. Trust those that you have helped to help you in their turn. Trust dreams. Trust your heart, and trust your story.
― Neil Gaiman

Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods.
Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.”
