I went to the café yesterday (believe me) after 32 years...!!!
I dint remember the structure of the building...!! Even the location where it’s situated...
But I recognize the good smell of the food and taste...!!!
Yes they maintain the same unique formula of great south Indian food called IDLI and SAMBAR”.. UNIMAGINABLE AND STILL UNBEATABLE...!!!
In many ways the atmosphere of the café –its really one can critic..
In many way the work of critic is very easy... haa haaa!!!
But one cannot critic the way they maintain a good taste on their serving food!!!
Yes the serve.. Getting a double point...
Yes the taste of food and serve is the real winner here!!!
They rock me even after 32 years (the total management has been changed in recent time) but still number of people doesn’t change their routine...
Yes I met few persons; they are coming here from their childhood days
And they further told, if they dint came for a single day.. They could not sleep well..!!!
Here the real “waiters” are the customers... haa haaa!!!
Yes I was waiting almost 25 minutes for my food to serve...!!!

பார்த்தசாரதி கோயில் (பெருமாள் கோயில்) 8ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் இந்து வைஷ்ணவக் கோயில்களில் ஒன்றாகும். வைணவர்களின் 108 திவ்விய தேசங்களில் ஒன்றான, கோயில் கோபுரங்களும் மண்டபங்களும், நுட்பமான சிற்பக் கலைகளும் நிறைந்த இக்கோவில் சென்னையில் உள்ள திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் உள்ளது. இத்தலத்து எம்பெருமான் மகாபாரதப் போரின்போது பார்த்தனுக்கு (அர்ஜுனன்) தேரோட்டிய (சாரதி) வடிவில் காட்சி அளிக்கிறார். இத்தலத்து மூலவரின் பெயர் வேங்கட கிருஷ்ணர் என்ற போதிலும் உற்சவராகிய பார்த்தசாரதியின் பெயரிலே புகழப்பெற்றுள்ளது. இக்கோயில் முதலில் 8ம் நூற்றாண்டில் பல்லவ மன்னனான ராஜா முதலாம் நரசிம்மவர்மன் மூலம் கட்டப்பட்டது. இக்கோவிலில் திருமாலின் அவதாரங்களில் ஐந்து அவதாரங்கள் உள்ளன. அவையாவன நரசிம்மர், ராமர், வரதராஜர், ரங்கநாதர் மற்றும் கிருஷ்ணர்.

Parthasarathy Temple at Chennai is a popular Vaishnavite temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. This 8th century temple is one of 108 Divya Desams or holy abodes of Lord Vishnu.
The name 'Parthasarathy', in Sanskrit, means the 'charioteer of Arjuna', and Lord Krishna is worshipped in that role in this temple. The temple subscribes to Vaikhanasa agama and follows Thenkalai tradition.

A major highlight of this Brahmotsavam is the procession of the presiding deity in an elaborately decorated chariot-car (Ratha). Thousands of devotees pull the huge car from the temple and go round four streets and back to the temple. The procession is accompanied by chanting of holy verses by the devotees .In Parthasarathy Temple of Triplicane learned devotees recite Nalayira Divya Prabandham (நாலாயிர திவ்ய பிரபந்தம்) 4000 pasurams(Verses) which is otherwise called as Dravida Vedam. Nalayira Divya Prabandham is collective work of 12 Alwars.
Three Alwars ( mystic Tamil Vaishnava poets) namely Peyalwar, Thiru mazhisai alwar and Thiru mangaialwar visited this great temple.
40-45 Minutes of sudden pour of rain yesterday(09.07.2017) night in Chennai is a wecome sign for the people. I pray God to shower his blessings in the form of rain for some more days. As the Metro Water unable to meet the demand of the entire city these good and intermittent showers will definitely help to increase the ground water level.

Went to marina beach on my parents anniversary after visiting the Triplicane Parthasarathy temple. I typically go to the fisherman dwelling searching for photo opportunities. I saw this kid playing with the sand. She was making sand castles. Her mom was selling corn nearby. She was very photogenic. She took a moment to pose for me. I wanted to crop the guys sitting at the background. Thought that they give the feel of beach and left them as is.
This is my first attempt to play with the textures.

The Parthasarathy Temple (Tamil: பார்த்தசாரதி கோயில்) is an 8th century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, located at Triplicane, Chennai, India. It is one among the 108 divyadesams or holy abodes of Lord Vishnu. The name 'Parthasarathy', in Sanskrit, means the 'charioteer of Arjuna', and Lord Krishna is worshipped in that role in this temple.
It was originally built by the Pallavas in the 8th century by king Narasimhavarman I. One of the distinguishing features of is that it has four of the incarnations or avatars of Vishnu: Narasimha, Rama, Varaha and Krishna.
The temple is one of the oldest structures in Chennai. There are shrines for Sri Vedhavalli Thayaar, Sri Ranganatha, Sri Rama, Sri Gajendra Varadharaja Swamy, Narasimha, Sri Andal, Sri Anjaneya, Alwars, Ramanuja, Swami Manavala Mamunigal and Vedanthachariar. The temple subscribes to Vaikhanasa agama and follows Thenkalai tradition
The temple has grand brahmotsavams for Sri Parthasarathy swami during the Tamil month of chittirai (April-May).
Among the 12 alwars (the great saints in Vaishnavite tradition) three of them namely Peyalwar, Thirumazhisai alwar and Thirumangaialwar have sung on the different forms of God in this temple. Many acharyas have also written songs on the various forms of God in this Temple.-wiki
