You can't help but get caught up in the elections of our southern neighbors. It's been on every media outlet that you can think of for months and it's reached a fever pitch now on election night. I sincerely hope that whatever the outcome, people can accept the results, put their differences aside, and move on.
This image was taken last summer after a stormy few days with a clearing trend finally at hand. I thought it was perhaps symbolic for all the recent political uncertainty.

A shot from the area where we have our summerhouse. It use to be very child friendly and shallow water, - but we've had some days during the summer with rather stormy weather and water.
I read about photographerJulia Buruleva who travelled to India, painted an elephant pink and made pictures of the animal. Then the elephant died and Julia became the subject of controversy, being accused of poisoning the elephant.
Without travelling the world I thought it a good idea to have Midjourney paint some animals for my series Pink Elephant and find out what their destiny will be.
