After rains had caused water levels to rise in the canal this photo was taken standing in the pine plantation forest looking across the canal from one side to the other and capturing the natural water reflections
Where is your restorative environment? This is mine, the West Highlands of Scotland, the most beautiful place I know. If ever you just need a place to go so that you can clear the mind there really is no where better.
I was hiking when I happened upon this cool scene. The area in the foreground is normally dry. Another happy accident!
The light on these trees by the shore of Loch Arkaig made them stand out against the shaded, north facing hills beyond. The calm stretch of water mirrored the view nicely.
