My beautiful niece in the photo at 15 years old. (taken this past September)

I tried to recreate the photo (same place) I took on my old iPhone in 2016, (link below if you are interested)....It ended up being too different than I would have liked to the original, however, I wanted it to be as natural as possible. I still like what the photo conveys to me and how she has changed as person 5 years later with her walking towards her future. The photo from 2016 was in the moment natural shot whereas I tried to do same but knew what I was aiming for this time, obviously. ☺️

My niece is a remarkable young lady, the sweetest, kindest soul, so caring and looks for the good in everyone. She is a great athlete, with a passion for running and cycling. She definitely inspires me.💛

Her longest bicycle ride was 160km at 14 years old. And she tends to run like Forest Gump,.. lol.. 👏🙌💛🚴🏃‍♀️

my niece in 2016 at 10 years old - not a great quality photo, however it is still one of my personal favorites because of its meaning to me. 💛

~happy easter saturday to us All ! ~

So after heartbreakingly loosing 5 years worth of work thanks to the shitty design of eternal hard drives, coupled with me being so concerned with other things to afford cloud computing or yet another EHD, I decided I will slowly have to retrace my steps over time and replace my work with new stuff in the same categories. It will probably take me most of the year to be honest.

Thus above is another new one for "Where the Wild Lights Are", which from the bonnet of my best friends new car, name Eddie, and it's a metallic electric blue Volkswagen T-Cross, and he's a beauty! Expect more to come.

I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you!

I'm heading off for a while, shall keep up as much as possible. Please forgive if all I manage is a fav and no comments.

Heading south and hoping (or should that be hopping) to make it to Kangaroo Island, just off the South Australian coastline.

I am at a loss regarding captions...

Shot with my manual Tamron standard zoom lens (@f/11) adapted to an EOS 70D on my way to work.

I needed to be quick (open the aperture, achieve focus confirmation, stop down again to gain dof) and therefore did not manage to frame the picture thus, that the reflection of the crossing person is in the picture too.

Thanked be the dawning spring that illuminates my mornings again. :-)

talentueux sculpteur animalier contemporain.

The state of the world has been on my mind

It’s weighed on my shoulders, demanding my time

Something is missing, it’s hard to stay sane

Why do the answers seem lost and arcane?

May war stop once and for all

And cast off the violence that has us enthralled

May healing not just be for the few

May peace be found for me and you

I speak of a message said thousands of times

Yet we smile when it’s mentioned and roll our eyes

It may be naive, but I must believe

Inside every human there’s kindness still

Hope is a fire that burns in us all

If only an ember, awaiting your call

To rise up in triumph should we all unite

The spark for change is yours to ignite

I believe this message is worth our time

There are people who’ve suffered yet conquered the climb

Who’ve sat in the stillness through darkness and light

And found love in the colours between black and white

May compassion turn foe into friend

May self-awareness help us transcend

May forgiveness be given, despite lives that were lost

For isn’t it peace all of us want?

The state of the world has been on my mind

Demanding my conscience and all of my time

Was there ever an age where it all made sense?

Or am I reminiscing about lost innocence?

Techno-Chic Ensemble

- Style transcends in the cyber realm -

In the pulsating realm of cyber fashion, SEKA's Cyba Sport Top and Latex Cutie Skirt offer a tantalizing blend of sleekness and edginess. The Cyba Sport Top, crafted with cutting-edge synthetic materials, boasts an asymmetric design with sharp lines and luminous LED accents that add a futuristic flair. This sleeveless crop top is similar to a short crop vest, accentuating the wearer's curves and exuding an air of empowerment. The ensemble comes with amazing shorts as well, for this outfit I paired with the Latex Cutie Skirt, which features a high-waisted, figure-hugging design. This ensemble commands attention in any setting. As you step into the brightly lit car garage, the contrast between the industrial surroundings and the luminosity of these cyber-inspired garments creates an alluring visual spectacle.

Completing the cyber-chic fit is LERONSO's Hairbase v19 (w/ Dreads) for Lelutka EVOx, adding an expression of bold individuality to the overall look. These intricate dreads, meticulously crafted with digital precision, piled atop the head, add to the futuristic vibe of this outfit. And let's not forget Majesty's !Phone Crystal, !Watch Charm, and Bitch Buffs Glasses, each contributing a cybernetic element. The !Phone Crystal, with its multiple color HUD, pom ball and handle, epitomizes connectivity and digital prowess. The !Watch Charm combines functionality and style, featuring a jeweled metallic design and attached charms. Lastly, the Bitch Buffs Glasses add an element of coolness, with their reflective lenses and multiple colors, transform the wearer's vision while remaining rooted in today's environment. As you stand amidst the car garage's raw industrial setting, the seamless integration of these cyber fashion elements create a visually striking fusion that showcases the harmonious convergence of fashion and technology.

In the realm of cyber fashion, the SEKA Cyba Sport Top (&Shorts), Latex Cutie Skirt, LERONSO's Hairbase v19 (dreads) for Lelutka EVOx, and Majesty's !Phone Crystal, !Watch Charm, and Bitch Buffs Glasses effortlessly transport you into a world where fashion and technology merge, giving rise to a mesmerizing cyber experience.

In this monochrome capture, an osprey stands triumphant at the water’s edge, wings unfurled like a banner of dominance and grace. The feathers each etched in light and shadow form a living mosaic of precision engineering, a testament to nature’s aerodynamic genius. Beneath its talons lies the spoils of the hunt: a fish, still glistening from its brief escape attempt, now claimed by the master of the skies.

The osprey’s gaze is surgical focused, unflinching, and utterly devoid of hesitation. This is not a moment of chaos but of control, the razor-thin line between instinct and artistry. The ripples behind it whisper of the chase just ended, while the grass before it marks the stage of victory. In black and white, the scene transcends time; color would only distract from the raw geometry of survival.

This photograph is not merely a record of predation it’s a portrait of purpose. Every line, every contrast, every droplet of water frozen midair tells the story of a creature that lives by precision and thrives by courage.
