This was another web that caught the dust, on Rob's trailer.
I am experimenting to get a cartoon effect for a Teddy Bear Childrens book. I have done a bear shot but also some other things like this. Thought this would be a good slider.

Rural Mariposa County
The wife and I did not wish to join other family for a Thanksgiving celebration, so in lieu of doing that, we packed the car up and headed literally for the hills. The weather was nice and the scenery fine. Deer, wild turkeys, vultures, hawks and other wildlife were all out.

The Deco Liner..........Handmade Airstream Travel Trailer. They were having a car show in town today and this I loved.
Special thanks to Kash for letting me take photos of these wonderful retro trailers at Lava Campground at Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. When the campground opens for the season, these trailers will be available for rent. For now, they are all tilted so rain and snow can run off the roof while they are not in use. Each trailer has a woman's name, so you can choose to stay in Ruby (the red one), Dottie (blue), Daisy (yellow), and so on. Lang, lang geleden kon ik vanop de brug van Lauwe de 2903 met haar sleep ketelwagens onder een fotowolk vastleggen. Meer dan een jaar later stond ik hier opnieuw. Dit keer met toch wat meer geluk!
Eerder op de dag reed ik met de auto richting regio Deinze-De Pinte. De plaatjes die ik daar kon maken zullen later nog wel verschijnen! Na 3 mooie cargo's die allen binnen het uur (dacht ik) voorbij kwamen was ik voldaan en keerde ik huiswaarts. Voor een spoorlijn als l75 was ik dik tevreden met deze buit! Net voor Kortrijk realiseerde ik me dat het nog geen 16u was en dus de Europorte naar Tessenderlo nog moest doorkomen.
Ik reed een klein stukje door naar het fotopunt in Lauwe. Daar zette mijn auto snel aan de kant omdat ik een spotter had zien staan op de brug. Ineens hoorde ik gebrul, het was niet waar: Daar was hij al! Een geluk dat ik niet helemaal heen was gereden naar het beoogde plekje anders had ik niet eens gemerkt dat hij al doorgekomen was.
Met de haren in de wind (geloof me: bovenop die brug was het om te bevriezen met al die wind!) liep ik tot bij de tot nader order onbekende spotter. Het bleek een Fransman te zijn van de regio Rijsel/Lille. Hij verwachtte nog een watertrein, dus besloot ik met hem het wachten te verzachten. Na de Bully kwam er een IC en daarna een heel kort containertreintje. Vanop de balustrade kon ik deze met halve zonnestand nog fotograferen.
Snel, snel liep ik naar de overkant en klom opnieuw op de balustrade want er melde zich opnieuw een cargo! Dit keer was het een SNCF traxx met aan de haak een van de 'eerste' Ekol-shuttles van een naar Zeebrugge! Achterop de trein bollen de gekende witte trailers mee, maar voor het kleurenpalet kwamen deze rode en blauwe containers mijn inziens toch net iets beter uit op de foto!
Het zal toch wel nog eens moeten lukken om deze typerende trailers als homogene trein voor de lens te krijgen op lijn 66. Deze keer mag ik van geluk spreken want met +200 kon ik deze nog meepikken na een succesvolle spotdag!
