Here is the reason for my trip to New York. I am the tradeshow coordinator for Aquafine, and this booth is my baby. (She can be a real beast sometimes though) Thanks Kim for the killer design! She always brings in loads of ooohs and aaaahs.
Come and sample the future of consumer home electronics on the Tech Trade Show today!
I've been watching a lot of gaming and tech history videos lately so naturally I couldn't resist exploring that glorious world of floppy disks, orange, sky blue, power-suits and moustaches. Much fun was had in making the figs; matching up beige outfits with boofy hairdo and facial hair.
I am always wondering why women wearing high heeled shoes to a tradeshow, which means much walking and standing. Do they want to compete with the trade show hostess to impress their boyfriends?

This model represents Joint Assault Bridge (JAB) system mounted on M1 tank chassis. In general it is almost identical to its bigger sister, the 1:16 scale JAB model www.flickr.com/photos/21159426@N05/albums/72157675532120052 , except it is 66% size and it's diorama base is slightly different.
Like the 1:16 scale JAB model this one is also fully operational, demonstrating a full cycle of the bridge deployment very close to reality. For the purpose of demonstrating the bridge deployment the model is mounted on a diorama type base with a "ravine" filled with concrete anti-tank obstacles.
To create this model we used the same digital tooling that was generated for the 1:16 scale JAB model, only the parts were rapid prototyped 66% of the original size.
The model is packed in a heavy duty military grade plastic cast transit case with a custom foam lining.
There is one good side to going to a tradeshow, look at all the booty you get.
Check the notes to see everything.

The Nespresso stand at IFA in Berlin invited their visitors to a sensual journey into the world of coffee. In cooperation with the German agency Ozon we created a unique stand that appealed to all senses. The capsules where decoratively showcased in tall columns and visitors could try out Nespresso’s latest Grand Crus. Stylish lounges in fresh colours invited guests to sit down and engage in lively discussions. The two-level stand was made from fine natural material in warm colours that created a very elegant atmosphere.
