We are just back from a week in Cornwall but not looked at our photos properly yet. This is from an earlier van trip a few weeks back, with a few slides in Snapseed for Sliders Sunday.

Walking down this track in morning fog alongside of the lake one can easily be lost in the moment of stillness and quiet except for the sounds of birds.

Tracks vanishing in the mist have a strange symbolism. Like to never take a train to some other world as master Miyazaki had portayed. The train would be full of spooky strangers anyway. Only ghosts could travel to such a mist. And yet, the hope lingers. Or is it a fear of that actually happening one day? To fly away or to become a ghost, there is no difference...

People stay on the Hanoi street train tracks to manage their businesses and residences, with some vendors and residents accustomed to swiftly relocating their belongings and activities when the train approaches. It is an integral part of many people's daily lives, showcasing how the local population has adapted to the unique circumstances of this railway running through the heart of the city.
As I cycle ever higher following the track as it winds it way up the Glen trees line the route with a glorious blue sky above. It's still a way to go before we reach the summit of Carn Liath, so let's keep going.
