De lange oorpluimen helpen de lynx om de richting van het geluid te traceren.
De lynx kwam vroeger in bijna alle grote bosgebieden in Europa en een groot deel van Azië voor. Door de jacht en verdrijving uit hun leefgebied zijn deze katten met hun kenmerkende oorpluimen tegenwoordig vrij zeldzaam geworden. Ze leven vooral nog in afgelegen bergstreken met wat kreupelhout. In enkele bossen in West-Europa zijn opnieuw lynxen uitgezet. In Nederland is vooralsnog niet voldoende aaneengesloten bos voor een herintroductie. "WNF"

Vandaag met de trein naar Utrecht. De stad in en foto's schieten en zelfs winkelen. Prachtige binnenstad en jawel, de Domtoren is nog altijd ingepakt in de steigers.
Op de terugweg bedacht ik mij om via Amersfoort weer huiswaarts te keren. Ik had een kwartier overstaptijd in Amersfoort, dat was prima te overbruggen. De camera was immers weer veilig opgeborgen na een dag fotograferen.
Wanneer ik op spoor 1/2 stond hoorde ik geknars aan de kant van spoor 3/4. Kon eerst niet helemaal traceren wat het precies was. Totdat ik een 6400 zag aankomen. Het bleek om de PON-trein te gaan. Heel snel een standpunt zoeken en dat zwarte fotojoekel uit mijn tas halen.. ;)
Juist op dat moment breekt de zon door tussen de vele hagel- en onweersbuien die in ieder geval de provincie Utrecht over zich heen had gekregen. De 6430 maakt voor vandaag zijn laatste kilometers vol met een lege PON-trein van PON Leusden naar Amersfoort Goederen. Op de achtergrond zie je nog die typische regenvegen in de wolken.
In my opinion, this turned out way better than Reaper.
Her armor, straps, collar, and gloves were made with electrical tape. I also added some details to Chell's legs with e-tape.
Her gun is from BrickForge, with some modifications with e-tape.
Her chest light is a tiny slice of a lightsaber.
Lastly, her face is Madame Hooch's with the cheekbones erased (edited out, in fact. I'd never erase such an expensive Lego head.).
Next up for OW is Zenyatta!

Flash A, bare bulb, mounted on overhead boom, bounced off 32 inch white umbrella, camera left at 30 degrees, angled down toward subject. Flash B camera right, angled at 30 degrees, at subject height, modified with MagMod MagGrid.

When I was making my custom Tracer, I found a pretty decent purist version of her, too.
Ninjago Kai hair, Harry Potter Madame Hooch head, Ultra Agents torso, and Star Wars legs.

The Mercury Tracer is no doubt a rarity even in its homeland nowadays, but of course more so in the UK where they were never officially sold. This example was imported here in 2000. An unusual vehicle to import, but I am glad someone did. They are apparently Mazda based. I am not surprised, as a lot of the panels and styling cues are distinctly Japanese.
