Follow where paths roam,
Adventure finds its home,
Even where it leads to none.
How paltry are the traces left behind by a life... We spend our time upon the earth and then disappear, and only one one-thousandth of what we were lasts. We send all those bottles out into the ocean and so few wash up on shore.

Another 2018 fav and another back when interesting things still happened on Pan Am. Here is another 28N unit auto rack train back when those still ran and yet more cool foreign power. CEFX 6030 is leading a CN SD75 and an unidentified NS EMD swinging off the old Boston and Maine Fitchburg route and on to the Stony Brook at the Willows at CPF WL, MP 313.8 on modern day Pan Am Railways Freight Main.
The triclops SD60M part of the CIT Rail lease fleet was built by EMD in Mar. 1990 and still wears its original Burlington Northern Cascade green and white. CIT leasing is a subsidiary of New York based CIT Group, that traces its history back to 1907 and was originally known as Commercial Investment Trust.
