Pondicherry has a fascinaitng history. It was the only French colony in India until 1954. There is still signs of the old French Quarter which I found intriguing. For what ever reasons, I have found myself living by French Quarters during my life.
It began when I served in Vietnam and saw the beautiful buildings that the French left behind. Then I had the pleasure of living in New Orlean's French Quarter for a while. I love the touch of elegance that they left in Asian countries which were already so very charming. I also love old decaying buildings which have many stories to tell. Thus, I felt compelled to take a picture of this old building on a rue in Pondicherry.
I was going to post this image today and these are really a test.
I was told my images were not showing their EXIF and I somehow thought they were.
I traced the issue down to Capture One.For some reason it was not exporting my full EXIF data. clicked and appropriate box and hopefully that will solve the issue. I will This its to check if it works check.
That being said I have not shot and image with anything other than a Fuji since the introduction of the FujiFilm XPro and I'm now using an Xpro3.
Also Capture One is a fine program it just requires a smart user, D'oh!

Night two and the eve of Acadia's 102 birthday found me at Jordon Pond capturing a star trail image focused around Polaris, high above the iconic two mountains known as "The Bubbles" at the far end of the pond. The image is comprised of seven 10-minute exposures for the star trails and a 30-second light painted frame for the foreground rocks, all at ISO 100.
