The Biz'art populaire association is preparing a photo exhibition in the garden Raymond VI in Toulouse. This will be an opportunity to discover pictures from Olivier Mériel, Yvon Lambert and Paolo Pellegrin (!).
A parallel event is organized by SFR and they have selected four pictures of mine. This second exhibition will take place at the Bellegarde cultural center from september 14th to october 20th.
One door closes
another opens
as the year unwinds
we leave our footprints
in traces of time
- notes from my journal
I might be too insignificant to leave traces on Earth, but I'm big enough to hold the traces the Earth leaves in me
再到東部的海岸去,躺在沙灘上、乘著快風喝個爛醉
Laying on the beach with windy weather, I am going to get drunk at the east of beautiful island.

Image Description: an intersection of two unpaved trails where several groups of hikers are taking a rest and conversing.
On the seventh day of Leave No Trace
We ask you to watch for others in this place
When hiking downhill be aware of those hiking up
They have the right of way, so yield, don’t get too close up
Those hikers are working harder than you
And always remember that mules have the right of way, too
Listen to the skinners, do as they say
Step off to the side, get out of the way
Do not split your group while hiking
Keep them within a distance of soft vocal striking
Then you won’t have to shout and yell
Disturbing others’ quiet and peace as well
Do not broadcast your voice; no one else wants to hear it
Let them enjoy the canyon’s sounds, let them rejuvenate their spirit
When in the campgrounds, always be conscious of your actions
Be polite, share space, but do not create distractions
Remember that headlamps can be bright in the dark
Hold them at your waist or use red lights at this park
This allows others to relax, sleep and preserve their vision
Believe me, being nice to others is a good decision
Remember you are not alone when camping and hiking
Others will do the same, making the experience more to your liking
Because Grand Canyon truly is a special place
So always follow the principles of Leave No Trace

Trace decay theory explains memories that are stored in both short term and long term memory system. According to this theory, short term memory (STM) can only retain information for a limited amount of time, around 15 to 30 seconds unless it is rehearsed. If it is not rehearsed, the information will start to gradually fade away and decay.
The history of the moated castle Weyer, located in Kematen an der Krems, Upper Austria, traces back to the year 1299. It has, however, been reworked several times, and finally got it's current appearance during the Renaissance period.
This image shows the castle is the light of the full moon, which reflects in one of the windows. The stars of the northern sky circle over the castle, including Ursa Majoris (the great Bear, or big Dipper) to the left of the bulding, and Ursa Minoris (the little Bear) with Polaris, the Pole Star, above it. A single Perseid meteor can also be seen, albeit it is mostly hidden behind the trees. Reflections of some of the brightest stars can be seen in the water of the moat.
Stack of 212 individual exoposures, each of 30 seconds (Canon EOS 550D, ISO 800, 8mm fisheye, f/4.0), resulting in a total exposure of 1 hour and 46 minutes. A time lapse movie composed from the frames used for this star trails image (and some additional images) can be seen here.
This image is also featured in the TWAN guest gallery and was on display during the TWAN exhibition in the Ars Electronica Center in Linz.
The success of the North American F-86 Sabre in USAF service led the Royal Canadian Air Force to replace most of its World War II-era fighters with license-built versions of the Sabre. The first Canadian-built Sabre Mk.2s entered service in 1952, with two-thirds going to the RCAF and the remainder to the USAF, which needed more Sabres during the Korean War than North American could produce. Later marks of the Canadair Sabres improved on the F-86 design by using a more powerful Orenda engine, culminating in the most produced example, the Mk. 6.
The Sabre Mk. 5 was based on the F-86F, with a larger wing and no leading-edge slats, and an uprated Orenda engine. All served with the RCAF, and about a quarter were later supplied to the rebuilding postwar Luftwaffe. The Mk. 5 was withdrawn from service in the mid-1960s with the RCAF, and a number were bought by private firms to be turned into drones for the US armed forces.
This particular Sabre is a Mk. 5, constructed as RCAF 23231. It was delivered to the RCAF in 1954 and served with 421 Squadron at Grostenquin, France. It was retired from RCAF service around 1970, and may have spent over a decade in storage before being acquired by a warbird collector, who restored it to flying status by 1977 (in TWA colors, which made for an odd but attractive color scheme). In 1982, it was purchased by Tracor as a chase aircraft, and was reregistered as N91FS. After over a decade flying with Tracor, N91FS was retired and donated to the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark in 1998, where it has remained ever since.
N91FS/RCAF 23231 may be the best preserved aircraft at Joe Davies, and retains its Tracor colors. According to some sources, it is still airworthy, and at least one source mentions that it was purchased in 2019 to return it to the air. It was still at Joe Davies when we visited in June 2023, however.

Central square of the city I live, early in the morning. Shot some with passengers - tracemakers- but didn't like them as much as this shot!
Love to do something different.
I’ve been around for only a little while.
But I think I learned.
Learned to do, to see, and to see what others do.....
I think that’s the strength of Flickr.
I did a lot with flowers and bugs. I feel secure with that now.
So, it’s time for developing other traces.
Discover the urban life through the lens.
Slowly I will mix my nature stuff with the urban.
Slowly.
