We went to the park on Sunday and such a joy to see these crocuses. The one and only blooms I've seen outside. Our nice weather continues and the sun is so deceiving at times. Can't complain much,..I'm thankful that no more snow. :-)

Tom saw this hawk while we were walking during our nature walk, but I could not see it. He kept telling me where the bird is standing until he told me "look at my finger where it is pointing", then I finally saw it. Although his vision on his right eye is not 100%, he can see things better than I do. It has been more than two years today since his last major surgery but we're still very hopeful that his vision on that eye will come back one day even not 100% but at least some.

Sumac leaves have such an amazing variation in their fall colours. From the green with a pink tip,to the bright fire red, yellow orange and almost fuchsia pink. Many variations which seem to change daily.

A quiet, winding path leads up toward the Meeting House at Riverdale Farm in Toronto. The last of the autumn leaves glow in gold and orange, clinging to branches and gathering along the split-rail fence. The hillside is layered with colour, and the historic wood-sided building appears through the trees, almost hidden. One of those soft November moments when the city feels like a countryside retreat.

A burst of orange and gold near the Toronto Beaches, captured on a bright fall afternoon. The maples were at their peak, their leaves glowing against a soft blue sky — one of those quick, perfect moments before the season shifts.
