A flashback to a warmer time...
Over on the blog I've started a "Best of 2010" series. There will be several posts all together: color, black and white, and infrared. Color starts the posts off today. I'm going to attempt to bring them all together in a top 10 when it's all done... we'll see how that goes...

in 2004, let it die came out. i was starting my last year in high school, starting photography, starting a lovestory. but your 3 words and the titles were just what i needed.
there’s an autobiographical impact of your lyrics and music on me. and almost every song is related to a step in my life. the reminder for my breakup with emy, let it die for endless nights, open season for my arrival in vancouver and Au. and so much more, actually. dear leslie feist, you are one of the rare artists that reminds me of paris. talking about music and souvenirs. it means a lot.
so after 6 weeks of emailing i had no news from the media people for your show in vancouver and i was laying on my sofa bed, drawing my bow window, watching a scorsese movie (after hours), thinking that you were in town, rocking the orpheum. and i was feeling weak, powerless. lack of force and lack of color.
around 8.36pm, i got a text message from an unknown number announcing me that i was on the list for a photopass for your show. well, basically this american magazine got me on the list and told me 20 minutes before the beginning of your performance. so i forgot to turn off the light in my room, i grabbed 2 cameras, 2 lenses, 3 memory cards, my shoes and a jacket. i live downtown but i was so stressed. my bag was super heavy, and i was running like crazy in the streets.
and so yes, my name was finally on the list. i was on the last line. they even gave me a ticket for the row 15, orchestra, when i was ready to pay more than 7o bucks to see your show. oh boy, i feel pretty lucky. photographers were allowed to take photos during the first three songs and only from the very very very right of the stage. basically against the wall on the right of the stage. i dont have any good photos and i even had the permanent desire to take photos from the audience.
but you were here, so tiny, mastering your red guitar and going on a trip with your voice. the orpheum is beautiful, and it’s probably my last time here. perfect ending ?! and this feeling of growing up with you. was it like playing in a church ? it was pretty quiet, i was clapping but i was gone pretty far in my head and i had to fight my asthma during all the performance.
dear leslie feist, i love the way you jump on stage, and your hair was perfect, and the smell of vanilla. i can’t wait to grow up again. tout doucement.
don’t blame me for this post and sorry for my english, nothing makes sense here and we should talk about surrealism to remember today.

O ano acabou mas resolvi mostrar pra todo mundo quais foram os esmaltinhos ou combinações que eu mais curti em 2010. Eu sei que a maioria está fazendo com 15 mas como o ano tem 12 meses achei melhor aproveitar esse gancho.
Eu imaginei que fosse dar muito trabalho na hora de escolher mas até que foi tranquilo e os escolhidos que valem a pena ser lembrados são:
1) Congo, Panvel - o fato de ele ser fosco, cor de grafitte e cheio de brilhinhos coloridos foi o que me conquistou;
2) Uva, Colorama + Ariel, Jubby no anelar - além de ter sido a primeira vez que experimentei a técnica do anelar esses esmaltes super combinaram um com o outro;
3) Absinto, Colorama - quer verde mais fofo que esse;
4) Misturinha by mim - esse azul cor de céu limpinho foi a minha primeira e, por enquanto, única misturinha e ficou o máximo;
5) Juno, Zoya + Matt Plus, BU - se não bastasse o vidro fofo da Zoya esse roxo é um dos esmaltes mais lindos que eu comprei e esse efeito metalizado que o matt deu por cima foi sensacional;
6) Balone, Mohda + Tango, Verona - essa carimbada ficou delicada e muito charmosa, eu não esperava que o resultado fosse dar tão certo;
7) Azulle, Ludurana - impossÃvel não amar esse esmalte;
8) DS Original, OPI - dispensa comentários, né;
9) Unhas marmorizadas - apesar da trabalheira o resultado ficou lindo nas minhas unhas;
10) LPE, Finaflor - está entre os lilases mais lindos da minha coleção e se tornou ainda mais querido pois ganhei do blog mais amado do meu coração;
11) Raibow Nails by Coleção Shrek-Spetacular - se alguém disser que essa combinação de cores não ficou fofo vou mandar usar ou trocar de óculos... hehehe;
12) Ata-me, Extase - azul escuro e perolado que tomou o posto do Paparazzi, o brilho desse esmalte foi tudo.
Como meu vÃcio começou quase na metade do ano eu não tinha tantas opções maravilhosas pra escolher, foi fácil fazer meu top. Mas considerando que esse ano de 2011 eu pretendo comprar alguns exemplares essenciais acho que a disputa pelo top vai ser mais acirrada... rsrsrs
