I spied this nest in an old toolbox on one of Steve and my walks last week.
I guess the gardener had not used it for a while in case he disturbed the nest. On the other hand it looked quite old, so maybe it had been there for some time anyway - one of those thoughtful moments.

My dad brought me my uncle's old toolbox when he visited this last weekend. I always thought this was a very cool family heirloom as it has all sorts of decals from his racing days back in the '60s. You can tell this thing has seen all sorts of action.

My brother this morning sent me this and other photos and said
"Every picture tells a story,in this case DON'T OPEN TOO MANY DRAWERS AT ONCE, especially when weight of boxes and contents is at least a ton.
I got away with a few cuts and bruises,could have been a lot worse.
It would have been ironic,if the things that earned me a living for decades,ended up killing me."
His collection of Snap-On tools started when he left school at 15 and grew to fill this double height cabinet. He retired a couple of weeks ago.
We never know what is round the corner...make the most of today!
