I remember being too you g to see him in the club he played when I was just in elementary school, my parents told him about me and he then invited us all to an authentic Cajun dinner the next night in a town about 1.5hrs away. Wouldn't you know it a blizzard hit and the roads were closed/I never made it. Did get to see him live once before he passed tho. He was literally earths music ambassador at one time.
