I was going to cook decent fried rice; had all the ingredients for it.... But alas, I was just too lazy, tired and HUNGRY to make any effort. And this is the result: super-hyper-lazy-fried-rice. I used whole grain basmati rice (cooked extra last night), an egg and half a bag of mixed salad (carrots, cabbage, radicchio, endive), seasoned with salt & pepper and just a little bit tomato ketchup. It wasn't bad... well, I was anyway too hungry to be bothered much.
Haha FGR's theme was potato's today and yeah.. 300 is like always on my brain.. Its a sickness really but yeah haha *should upload the one from last year* hehe it was chicken nuggets!
It took me a long time to arrange them together!
I don't know if I'm happy with the rainbow formation. What do you think?

A two tier sandwich cooked ham and tomato on top, cheese and tomato ketchup on the bottom layer. Just a little snack to keep me from getting hunger pains!

I've been going through a lean period of being able to get out of the house and away from the desk/under the stairs to actually shoot some film. The thought of just popping out and taking a few snaps locally usually makes me think 'been there done it' - but sometimes it's nice to dust off an old camera and take a look afresh.
And so this is what I did - got the Canon QL17 out and shot a roll in the environs.
One lump or two?

OK, admittedly a bad joke but an unusual combination of Yoda and tomato ketchup. For this week's macro Monday's theme “unusual combinations”.

Hat theme continuing.
Strobist: 1 Nikon SB910 as Remote TTL through homemade softbox (see previous upload) from 45 degrees in front of objects at camera left standing on the floor.
A chilli frankfurter with fried onions and tomato sauce - for Macro Monday's theme - "a tasty snack" - HMM!
...but ketchup goes with so many things :)

Doing my best to keep the hat in the picture.
Strobist: Nikon SB910 (TTL Remote mode) on stand from 30 degrees in front of subject camera left shooting into "softbox" made of a small (30x20x30cm) cardboard box with industrial aluminium polymer packaging bag cladding and indeterminate paper/cellulose material as diffusor - all held together with packaging tape. Today's idea was the homemade cardboard softbox as I am trying to control the impulse to buy more and more gear!
I miss my studio lights though.

Lovely ketchup mmmmm my 2nd photo for the Weekly Alphabet Group. Taken on my iPhone4 in Tesco, Mallow, Co. Cork. The people walking past me in the aisle thought I was bonkers!
It's time for dinner!
And let's face it... any time is ketchup time.
Helen, you won't be surprised to learn that this is my submission to the "TIME" photo challenge (and about TIME too).

The hereios of the We're Here! group have paid a visit to the Where no tomato has gone before group today. Sadly I had no tomatoes so I had to make do with tomato ketchup

JJ and I went for a long seafront walk on my day off last Wednesday. As it was so pleasant, we stopped for a snack lunch of chicken nuggets and chips at the cafe, Rock 'n Sole, which is not far from the Blue Reef Centre and D Day Museum.
Was out for a brief meet-up and shoot with Rena, a model I've recently been shooting with. Irwin took us to a small restaurant he knows in Shibuya, for a coffee and a chat.
This scene just struck me as very 1950s... that chair, the bottle, the colourscheme.

These Danbo boxes do half get themselves involved with the wrong sort of people.
Went off for lunch today and found this crime scene on the X-ray viewing lightbox in our department.
Since I found the X-ray box it becoming more used than it ever did for its actual job..
:)
Got the ketchup from the Burger King that is conveniently situated at the front of the hospital on the way to the cardiac wards LOL
This week’s choice of theme is “Flip”, interesting and abstract, so my projection here is “Flip the Lid” so many possibilities, don’t let the ideas slip..
