A single tomato plant has produced tomatoes non stop for us,

Some of the branches are pulling away from the main stalk,

Little strand and ropes holding it to the Mother plant,

Amazingly enough still has many tomatoes and new flowers,

Planted in the Vegtrug.

We're receiving some welcome rainfall in the Cowichan Valley. This will help the front line fire fighters in our province's forests. Hoping for more rain elsewhere in BC as well.

When I got home from work today I went and picked the last of our tomatoes from our backyard. Well, there's a few more green ones waiting to ripen but not much. We had a plentiful "harvest" of tomatoes this summer. Next year I really want to try to plant (I take that back . . . I will have the hubs plant) some heirloom tomatoes as well since he didn't get to plant them this year.
